Local farmers are currently inclined to invest in the repair and maintenance of existing agricultural machinery, rather than to purchase brand new or used ones. This is demonstrated by the result of the analysis made jointly by Avito and AA-P (www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear trend towards increasing the effective service life of agricultural machinery: farmers have begun to treat it more carefully, respectively, the need for spare parts and advance maintenance is increasing. Based on the data of Avito.Ru, this year the demand for components has increased by an order of magnitude compared to the previous year, and the supply has increased by 90 percent. The TOP cities with the greatest growth in demand for spare parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a dynamic agricultural sector.

Based on the information collected from the "Field", we can see an increase in farmers' interest in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year by 6.5 times. Farmers today give priority to an economical and, accordingly, fast way to purchase spare parts on portals. Here it becomes clear who is the manufacturer of the parts, and at the same time comprehensive support is provided, from the selection of goods to delivery. In addition, the trend is the leasing of agricultural machinery, the demand for which is increasing seven times annually, especially taking into account the support of the state.

According to analytics selected from the Avito.Ru portal, at the beginning of 2024, over 120000 offers for the sale of parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation were available on the online platform. From this selection, more than 110000 applications concerned the sale of new spare parts. More than ever, the most popular commodity items on a Russian scale in 2024 were bodies, platforms, booths, attachments, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. The head of the profile section "Spare Parts" on the Avito.ru website expresses the opinion that against the background of the course towards import substitution, the agricultural sector shows rapid growth and feels the growing need for good specialists, machinery, components and equipment.

In earlier reports of the Association, the decrease in the production of combines in the Russian Federation in the current year was emphasized. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, during 2024, domestic agricultural enterprises reduced the level of orders for basic types of agricultural machinery. It is assumed that this trend will remain significant this year.
