Defeat Medved First: Before you can even think about hunting Vorana, you need to advance The Grand Expedition questline by following Makoru's Logbook. This will lead you to Medved, the Fallen Seer. Put him down, and he will drop the item you actually need: Vorana's Logbook.
Unlock the Black Scythe Islands: Take that newly acquired logbook back to Kingsmarch and activate it. This action opens up a special network of high-tier expedition maps known as the Black Scythe Islands. Keep in mind that you will need a Tier 11 or higher Waystone to actually open and enter these zones.
Detonate the Tomb: Once you are inside the island map, keep an eye out for our resident dealer, Tujen. When you begin plotting your explosive chain across the excavation site, do not just blindly chase high-value remnants. The Black Reaping (Dark Fog): This is the core mechanic of the entire fight. As soon as the encounter begins, a swirling dark fog starts creeping in from the edges, gradually filling up almost the entire arena. This forces you to stay inside a very tight, clean circle directly surrounding Vorana. If you panic and step out into the fog, you will take massive, lethal damage-over-time debuffs that can easily melt your character in a matter of seconds.
Orbiting Stars: To make that tight circle even more uncomfortable, glowing orbs will rotate around the perimeter of the safe zone. These stars constantly fire projectiles at you. If you accidentally run directly into one of these stars, it will prompt a short delay before detonating in a high-damage area-of-effect explosion. Constant micro-movement is key here.
Lacerate & Double Scythe Slash: Up close, Vorana is incredibly aggressive. Her signature move is a massive semi-circular cross slash using both of her scythe weapons right in front of her. Because the dark fog forces you to play at close range, you cannot easily back away from this. Instead, you need to treat this like a dance: constantly circle around to her back whenever she winds up an attack.

Keep your eyes glued to your minimap, where her location icon is still visible, and watch the center of the arena for faint wind indicator lines. These lines show you the exact angle from which she is about to dash back inward for a devastating ambush attack.
Quick Strategy: Treat this fight like an arena fighter. Bind a reliable movement skill that doesn't overshoot, as dashing too far will land you straight into the deadly fog or an explosive star. Focus on short, circular movements around the boss rather than running away.

Taking down the Last to Fall is tough, but the spoils are well worth the effort, offering a mix of mandatory quest items, build-defining crafting materials, and powerful jewels:
