Black Ops 7: My Personal Guide to Securing the Necrofluid Gauntlet

A clear, personal, and highly detailed guide that walks through every step involved in earning the Necrofluid Gauntlet on Ashes of the Damned in Black Ops 7 Zombies.

Before I unlocked the Necrofluid Gauntlet myself, I heard players comparing its quest to the organized strategies used in bo7 bot lobbies, and honestly, they were right. It’s systematic, intense, and one of the most satisfying wonder weapon unlocks in the game. From tracking down symbols to defending power generators under pressure, every step delivered a memorable moment.

I began by turning on all three major power generators across the map—Farm, Blackwater Lake, and Ashwood—while preparing Pack-a-Punch for tougher rounds later. My next destination was the sheriff’s office, where I found Claus offline behind the cell bars. Bringing him back online required acquiring the stabilizer chip, so I headed toward Janice Towers Plaza.

Reaching the storage crate near Blackwater Lake’s gate, I waited until round eight so the Mecha Claus could spawn. He erupted from the crate as soon as I approached. The fight demanded accurate shots on his weak spots while dodging zombie swarms, but eventually I broke him down and recovered the chip. Installing it on Claus allowed me to stun him repeatedly until he rebooted, rose from the cell, and took flight.

With Claus under my command, I guided him to the Cosmodrome. Positioning him in front of a sealed door allowed him to hack its keypad. Once open, I activated a switch that created a red circle on the floor. This part tested my patience and precision—I had to remain inside the circle while staring directly at a camera overhead. Any slip would force me to wait until the next round.

After completing the lockdown, I obtained the Aether canister and began a timed delivery sequence. I installed it in Ashwood’s generator first, defended it, then transported it to Blackwater Lake and finally the Farm. Jump pads were disabled, so using Tessy efficiently was the key to staying ahead of the timer. At the Farm, once the generator was fully charged, I placed the canister into the Cortifax box in the basement.

Next, I used the jump pad system to launch up and observe the three floating symbols placed atop the house, the barn, and the silo. They differ every match, so taking my time to memorize them was essential. Back in the basement, I activated each side of the box until the symbols matched the ones above ground.

With all three in place, I interacted with the eyeball panel and claimed the Necrofluid Gauntlet. Before it became fully functional, I had to clear several green runic stains on the walls by firing spikes and retracting them in quick succession. Once finished, the weapon was mine to use freely—and the entire journey felt incredibly rewarding.

Few wonder weapons balance combat, puzzles, and exploration as elegantly as this one. The Necrofluid Gauntlet instantly became one of my favorite tools in Black Ops 7 Zombies.
